If we’re filled with His glory - we won’t be distracted looking for everyone else’s approval.

In response to knowing God, we’re called to share the wonders of knowing Him with a world in desperate need of Him.  Don’t take this lightly… fact is, He’s filled us with His Spirit and empowered us to proclaim the good news of salvation with a broken world.  

1 Corinthians 10:31 says; “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”  Wow... that’s a mouth full - We were made to declare the glory of God. But, to do that - begins with taking a look at our own hearts.  I can’t declare that God is above every other name if my life is all about me.  Declaring God’s glory starts with our own humility.  It begins with giving it up to the One who’s given up everything for me.  When we remove ourselves from the throne of our own hearts we’re set free to magnify Jesus.  And in this freedom we find the life we were always meant for - a life of continual, incredibly satisfying relationship and worship.

In Revelation 19:6-8 we see a picture of heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb.  At this feast a great multitude cries out saying:  Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.   Truth is – He always has... One day all of creation will see Jesus for who He is and give Him the glory He is due.  One day everything will be set right, and we will discover the abundant life in all its fullness.  One day “every knee will bow -and every tongue will confess that Jesus is LORD to the GLORY of God the Father.” However, God has so designed things that you have an opportunity to give God glory today and lead others to do the same.  You have an opportunity to live and experience the abundant life that’s already available to you.  So, come on, let’s do it!  Let’s say together before we get to heaven.
